Terms of Service

Carevus lets you request and keep track of non-emergency medical transportation rides with participating operators. Carevus is not a transportation provider and does not provide rides. Each ride is provided by an independent operator, who is solely responsible for the ride, its vehicles and drivers, its prices, and its cancellation and refund rules.

Carevus is not for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

• You must be at least 18 to create an account, or have a parent or guardian create one for you.
• Give accurate information, and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• If you book for someone else, you confirm you are allowed to share their information for that purpose.

A trip request is not confirmed until the operator confirms it. Some operators require payment before the ride. Payments are made to the operator through Stripe; the operator sets the price and is the seller of the ride.

Cancellations, no-shows, and refunds follow the operator’s rules. Contact your operator about a charge first; if you cannot resolve it, email [email protected].

• Do not misuse Carevus, interfere with it, or try to access it in ways we do not provide.
• Do not submit false trip requests or information about others without permission.
• Treat operators and drivers with respect. Operators may refuse service for safety reasons.

Carevus, its software, and its content are owned by Monxt LLC and its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app as provided under these Terms.

Carevus is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that a ride will be available, on time, or meet your needs, and we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of operators or their drivers. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monxt LLC and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Carevus or any ride, and our total liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us (not operators) in the past 12 months.

You may stop using Carevus and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

If you downloaded Carevus from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and Monxt LLC, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its support, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms for apps obtained from the App Store.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Carevus after changes take effect means you accept them.
